At Dhanbad City School, every student is expected to maintain discipline, respect, and responsibility. The following rules help ensure a safe, positive, and productive learning environment.

General Rules
  • Students must attend school regularly and be punctual.
  • The prescribed school uniform must be worn neatly every day.
  • Students should maintain discipline and respect teachers, staff, and fellow students.
  • Polite and respectful behavior is expected at all times.
  • Damage to school property will be treated seriously, and the cost of repair may be recovered from the responsible student.
Fee Payment

School fees are to be paid as per the fee calendar. Tuition fees are to be paid on a monthly basis. The tuition fees for the current month should be paid on or before the 15th of the next month. After the due date, late payment charges of Rs. 50 (Fifty) will be levied for each delayed month.

Attendance
  • Students should maintain regular attendance throughout the academic session.
  • Leave applications must be submitted in advance whenever possible.
  • A medical certificate may be required for extended absence due to illness.
  • Continuous absence without prior information may result in disciplinary action.
Academic Conduct
  • School diary & Student ID card must be brought to school everyday.
  • Students should complete all classwork, homework, and assignments on time.
  • They must bring the required books and stationery every day.
  • Any form of cheating, plagiarism, or unfair means during examinations is strictly prohibited.
Behaviour & Discipline
  • Bullying, ragging, harassment, or any form of violence is strictly prohibited.
  • Students must maintain proper conduct inside classrooms, laboratories, library, buses, and on the school campus.
  • Respect for cultural diversity and the dignity of others is expected from every student.
Mobile Phones & Electronic Gadgets
  • Mobile phones, smartwatches, and electronic gadgets are not permitted unless specifically allowed by the school.
  • The school is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings brought by students.
Safety & Security
  • School will not accept lunch of any student in between school                                                         hours.
  • Students must follow all safety instructions issued by the school.
  • Entry into restricted areas is not permitted without authorization.
  • Any accident, illness, or safety concern should be reported immediately to a teacher or the school office.
Transport Rules
  • Students using the school transport must follow the instructions of the bus staff.
  • Discipline should be maintained while boarding, travelling, and getting off the bus.
  • Any damage to the school bus will be the responsibility of the concerned student.
Parent Cooperation
  • Parents are requested to attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) regularly.
  • Changes in address, contact number, or other important information should be communicated to the school immediately.
  • Parents should ensure that students follow the school’s rules and maintain regular attendance.
School Authority

The school management reserves the right to amend or modify these rules and regulations whenever necessary. All students and parents are expected to comply with the school’s policies and decisions.
